HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR SILK
With proper care and maintenance, this luxury pillowcase
will provide you with years of comfort.
CARING FOR YOUR SILK IS CARING FOR YOUR SKIN TOO
Always remove your make-up and mascara before going to bed or laying on your silk pillowcase. Not only does cleansing your skin allow your skin to breathe and rest, it allows your skin to recover against the silk. Removing make-up will also prevent stains on your pillowcase.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Hand Washing
For best results, lightly hand-wash your pillowcase inside-out in cold water, using a mild, neutral detergent.
Machine Washing
Most modern washing machines have a gentle silk or wool cycle, which allows you to wash your silk pillowcase at 30°C. Do not use the cotton cycle on your washing machine at 40°C as this will cause the loss of softness. Place the pillowcase in a laundry or soft mesh bag before placing it in the washing machine. Wash separately from colours.
Drying & Ironing
Avoid tumble-drying and direct sunlight. When 80-90% dry, iron inside-out with a cool iron or silk setting. Do not bleach your silk pillowcases.
Tip – When rinsing your silk, add a teaspoon of natural white vinegar as this will prevent the silk from stiffening, and it helps keep it soft and bright in colour.
