Meet Babette,
our ELLY for HOPE ambassador and warrior.
Babette’s story:
I am Babette. I am 33. I am a survivor. I was diagnosed with Early-Stage Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Grade 3 in April 2020. In other words. Breast Cancer.
When I heard the word Cancer I immediately cried about my hair. During this year, I’ve had 16 rounds of Chemotherapy. My hair fell out two weeks after the first infusion. Not having hair, eyebrows and lashes, is very traumatic. Hair is part of our identity and how we portray ourselves to the world. It affects our femininity and sexuality.
I am currently in remission and my hair is starting to grow back. I am proud, honoured and very excited to say that I’ll be the first Brand Ambassador for the ELLY for HOPE range. I am looking forward to having beautiful thick hair and thankful for the Elly team that supports me on this new adventure.
From the ELLY Team:
Thank you Babette, YOU are a warrior, YOU are brave, and we salute YOU!
